The United Way of Jackson County surpassed their $2 million campaign goal for the second year in a row! "The people of Jackson have opened their generous hearts again and we are just so grateful. It's a giant team effort and certainly not one single person" said Beth Shafer, Director of Resource Development. The official total will be announced at the 79th annual meeting March 18 at the Ella Sharp Museum. Says Keith Moore, Executive Director of Otsego County United Way, "It's great time to be educated by the data and studies out there. A lot of people just aren't aware.
