Weekly Wrap Up: July 24, 2015

Happy Friday! It's been a while since we've had a Weekly Wrap Up, so let's get to it!

Are you ready to show your golf talents off? Join us at the IMA Brookwood Golf Course in Burton on Friday, August 14th as we partner with AFSCME Council 25 for a Charity Golf Outing to benefit the Michigan Association of United Ways Labor Department! Proceeds from the outing will help fund new and existing Labor Programs across Michigan. You can register for the event here. We'll see you on the course!

Materials from the 2015 Annual Meeting are available on the Member Center! Download the presentations, materials and conference guide quickly and easily. If you need help accessing the Member Center, contact Kaitlynn

The United Way of Bay County and the Do-Care Family Enrichment Center are partnering to provide 1,200 local children with new clothes and school supplies before the new school year starts. The program, which offers a complete new outfit (including shoes!) and a backpack filled with school supplies, is just shy of it's fundraising goal. "This is a wonderful program that has proven year in and year out that this creates a huge impact on our community," said Tera Wieland, a spokeswoman for the United Way of Bay County.
