The National Employment Law Project is pleased to invite you to a one-day briefing set for Wednesday, December 3 at Lansing Community College's West Campus. Building a Toolkit: Helping Michigan's Jobless Workers is designed as an overview of programs and agencies that address job loss and economic dislocation as well as a networking opportunity for community groups, faith organizations, public officials and others that assist jobless workers.
Building a Toolkit is presented by National Employment Law Project and Center for Civil Justice and is funded in part by a grant from the C.S. Mott Foundation. While there is no registration fee, they ask that you pre-register by contacting Lindsay Webb (see below). For those in need of assistance with travel expenses (mileage), they are offering scholarships. If you need travel help, advise us at the time of registration. Parking is free and we will supply a light breakfast and lunch for all registrants.
