Toy Trucks for Project Connect
The Association of Plastic Engineers donated 15,000 toy trucks to be distributed to kids in need.  The Michigan Association of United Ways helped to distribute these toy trucks to local United Ways.  On Feb. 5, local children attending Project Connect in the Charlevoix-Emmet counties received some of the toy trucks.  Martha Lancaster, CEO for the Char-Em United Way arranged to have a UPS pick up the trucks in Lansing and deliver them to United Ways in northern Michigan at no cost.  Please read the full article from the Charlevoix Courier.
