This is the 14th year that the Society of Plastics Engineers, Detroit Section (SPE) and American Plastic Toys have partnered to donate 15,000 toys to the Michigan Association of United Ways for distribution to local United Ways and Partner Agencies throughout the state of Michigan.

American Plastic Toys, located in Walled Lake, Michigan donated a week’s worth of production, Chevron Phillips Chemical donated 12,000 pounds of plastic, Maple Press donated labels and E.L. Hollingsworth of Plymouth handled the transportation.

This program is a perfect example of collaboration by the Society of Plastics Engineers and the Michigan Association of United Ways.
