Register for the 2019 Community Services School
Join us April 29 through May 3, 2019 at the UAW Family Education Center in Onaway, Michigan.
A message from Community Services Director, Robert Cramer:
Greetings Brothers & Sisters:
Today’s world is different than it was a generation ago. Actually, it’s different than it was a decade ago. It’s not only different because times have changed, or priorities have changed, or politicians have changed or the change that technology has brought. It’s different because You have made a difference. You, your co-workers, your unions, you all have worked to make change. Whether it was a single effort or a lifelong ambition, you have made our communities better. You’ve made people’s lives better. You’ve made our unions better.
Our efforts through Community Services provide us opportunities to make those changes. Community Services helps us be prepared to face challenges, obstacles, even opposition in order to bring about positive change and to help ensure our brothers, sisters and community members are looked after in their time of need.
The Michigan State AFL-CIO Community Services School helps to provide union members with the tools and resources needed to accomplish change. Be it a strike, lockout or community need we are here, prepared. We look forward to an exciting week filled with information, education and camaraderie where friendships are made, unions are strengthened and change begins!
Please note that this year’s Mi. AFL-CIO Community Services School dates have changed, we will be meeting at the Walter & May Reuther UAW Family Education Center the week of April 28 – May 3 hope to see you there.
