Broken Door Step? Loose Wire? Leaky Pipe?

The United Way of Bay County's Tuesday Toolmen program addresses home repair issues for seniors, low-income families and veterans. The objective of this program is not to remodel homes or do extensive repair work, but to help Bay County citizens in need with simple basic repairs to their homes to make it safer and easier to maintain.

Tuesday Toolmen volunteers make about 100 visits per year and help with a variety of repairs such as repairing screen doors, replacing spigots on washing machines and installing rails on porch steps.

Tuesday Toolmen Recipients

Thank you so very much for doing the work for me. Your kindness to others is so wonderful. If only there were more people out in this world like you three gentlemen, this world would be a better place!
It was getting very difficult to get down some steps from my porch. Since the Toolmen put in railings, it will be a lot safer for me to get down.

The mission of the United Way of Bay County is to build the community's financial and human ability to efficiently and effectively meet its human care needs.
